ARLINGTON, TEXAS – October 6, 2015 – Lincoln Property Company has been a key player in the growth of northwest Plano for many years, providing quality new locations for dozens of new businesses in this area. In August 2015, Lincoln Property Company debuted the latest of their exciting new Plano properties with Legacy VI and VII.

Built by Bob Moore Construction, Legacy VI and VII deliver 245,508 of new high end, speculative office and tech center space on a spacious 24-acre, three-building campus.

Legacy VI includes two flex / tech centers. Each building is 60,428 SF. The buildings include aluminum awnings and a dramatic white exterior paint scheme. Luxurious landscaping surround the buildings, and the walkways to the entrances feature a sandblasted finish with curved radius patterns.

Legacy VII is a 124,652 SF two-story office building. Like the two tech centers in Legacy VI, the exterior of Legacy VII features aluminum awnings, a white paint finish and sandblasted walkways. The building’s corners and main entrances also include large spandrel glass curtainwall windows. The lobby is finished with glass, steel, wood and tile to create a dramatic, modern design to the building’s common areas. A grand stairway made with steel steps protruding from a tiled wall leads visitors to the second floor balcony which overlooks the front entrance.

All three buildings were constructed with tilt-up construction. The campus also features 1,463 parking spaces with numerous landscaped parking islands, spread over 582,522 SF of new paving.

“The building turned out very well, and we’re very pleased,” said Tom Kuhlmann, Executive Vice President of Lincoln Property Company. “The important features to us were functionality for the value office sector and aesthetics in the common area, and we accomplished that.

“The feedback we’ve received on Legacy VI and VII has been exceptional,” Mr. Kuhlmann added. “Our leasing activity is strong and our tenants really enjoy the facilities.”

“These buildings, particularly Legacy VII with its dark curtainwall windows at the corners and entrances, make a striking statement to motorists traveling along Tennyson Parkway,” said Kyle Whitesell, Executive Vice President of Bob Moore Construction. “The dramatic appearance of the entire campus, from the beautifully finished buildings to the spacious and landscaped parking lots, will make these facilities very appealing to businesses that want to present an upscale image in a dynamic, growing area.”

The Legacy VI and VII project brings the number of successful collaborations between Bob Moore Construction and Lincoln Property Company to a dozen. “Our experience working with Kyle Whitesell and Bob Moore Construction was great,” said Mr. Kuhlmann. “We’ve been working with Bob Moore Construction for more than 20 years and we continue to do so. In fact, we’re starting another project now. Our experience with Bob Moore Construction is always very good.”

“The Legacy VI and VII project has been another successful collaboration between Lincoln Property Company and Bob Moore Construction,” said Mr. Whitesell. “Over the years I’ve enjoyed the consistent support, participation and professionalism that people like Tom Kuhlmann bring to every new building project and we look forward to supporting their continued growth with more quality projects in the coming years.”
