The new parking garage is a major part of the revitalization of the Village on the Parkway shopping community, located at the corner of the North Dallas Tollway and Belt Line Road in Addison, Texas.
The 216,793 SF garage is comprised of 565 separate pieces of precast concrete that were assembled to form the structure. It adds 622 new parking spaces over five stories to the upscale Village on the Parkway retail community. The facility includes interior lighting, emergency lighting, three elevators and three stairwells.
Attached to the new garage is a speculative retail building spanning 20,000 SF over two stories. The exterior of this space is designed with a variety of finishes, including two tones of paint, steel / wood sunscreens and canopies and cultured stone veneer.
The construction of this garage was a major portion of Phase II of the development’s revitalization. A previous phase included the demolition of an empty three-story retail building and the construction of the Whole Foods Market at the north west corner of the development, also built by Bob Moore Construction.
