Design-Build General Contractor Bob Moore Construction opened a new corporate headquarters in Grapevine, Texas in 2021. Built to earn LEED certification, the campus is designed to follow sustainable principles, with energy-efficient fixtures, environmentally friendly materials, and additional economical and health-minded features throughout. Designed by GDA Architects, the building is notable for its promotion of natural lighting throughout.
Utilizing a mixture of open and private office concepts, workspaces throughout the building are designed to promote collaboration and, thus, innovation. Every workspace has a view of the beautiful landscaping across the campus.
Technology was also at the forefront of design throughout the facility, most noticeably the 110” video wall greeting visitors in the reception area. The facility also features a large training room, soundproof recording studio, and covered patio that spans the rear of the building.
This new facility replaces Bob Moore Construction’s previous headquarters of 37 years on North Watson Road in Arlington, Texas.
Ed McGuire, President of Bob Moore Construction, said “This new facility will be our first new home in 37 years. We knew going in that if we were going to do this, we had to go all out and do it right. This new office will nearly double the size our Arlington office and is going through the LEED certification process.
“It is fitting that our new corporate headquarters be opened the year of the company’s 75th anniversary of continuous operation.” McGuire continued. “With this new facility, we will have room to grow and continue the legacy that Bob Moore left us for many years to come.”
