Bob Moore Construction was the design / build contractor for the Ag-Power retail store, a 20,386 SF steel building construction project in Tyler, Texas.

The building is a pre-engineered steel building. The exterior is finished with two different brick facades on the front and sides, with rustic metal panels as decorative accents. The front entrance is covered with a silver canopy roof and large monument signs promote the various brands of equipment sold through the dealership.

The 8,000 SF showroom is highlighted with an elaborate millwork sales desk built in a modern zig zag pattern and finished with chrome caps and decorative cambinets. Matching stainless steel swing doors connect the sales area with the parts area. The showroom is finished in multiple shades of gray with brick facade accents on the walls. The floor features a variety of coverings including large area rugs, tiles, carpeting and concrete floor to provide an industrial look throughout the space. Overhead, 12 8′ x 10′ light clouds hang from a ceiling grid to provide lighting in the sales area and enhance the modern design. A large bay door allows employees to bring large equipment and other products into the sales space. Five sales offices line the sales floor.

Additional office space, customer service window and warehouse shelving is located in the parts area to support the ordering and sales of thousands of John Deere parts.

The service area provides 12,000 SF of space in eight work bays. Two two-ton jib cranes support equipment servicing. The floor is covered in sealed concrete. Access to the service area is provided through eight overhead bay doors and one large bay door for oversized equipment.

Beside the building is a large single-bay wash rack for cleaning the tractors. The project also included the creation of a large parking lot for customers and equipment displays, with additional parking and driving lanes to the rear of the building for the service bays.
